Cole Turner is a half-demon, a being of evil, tasked by the Source of All Evil to spread Evil's manifesto. As such, Cole can sense the evil, or the potential of evil, in Mortals, with the aim of fostering that evil.

Cole, however, is trying his best to be Good. But that doesn't stop him from being able to sense evil.

His other powers are as follows:

Active:
Apportation - The ability to teleport objects
Energy Balls - The ability to throw balls of energy, similar to electrical discharges.
Incineration - The ability to incinerate objects/beings with a gesture
Shapeshifting (Limited) - Cole can shift between his human form and his demonic form (Belthazor) at will
Shimmering - The ability to teleport via a "shimmer", an ability held by demons.
Super Strength - Strength beyond that of a normal human
Telekinesis - The ability to move objects with the mind

Passive:
Adjusting - The ability to fight through molecular inhibitory powers/effects
High Resistance - The ability to resist a high amount of physical and magical damage and survive. He is one of the few demons to survive Piper Halliwell's Molecular Combustion technique.
Immortality - The ability to live forever.
Sensing - The ability to sense other beings. (Mostly Evil in other beings)
Illusion Casting - The ability to conjour illusions.

If your character is evil, or has the potential for evil, please note this in the comments. Alternatively, if you'd prefer your character to not be affected by any of Cole's other powers, please note this.

Answer the following questions in no less than 300 words but no greater than 1000 words put together...
Character's background (their past and present): Cole @ Charmed Wikia
Character's personality: Cole is generally serious. He takes things as they come, is calm and is able to think up a decent plan no matter the circumstances. When things threaten the people he likes, Cole can get obsessed with protecting them, to the point where it can be infuriating. Since turning his back on his Evil side, Cole is more wary in his actions. Not only because the Source of All Evil and any number of demonic bounty hunters were on his tail, but because he doesn’t want to go back to being Belthazor.

Phoebe Halliwell is a huge emotional rock for Cole. For her, Cole is willing to do absolutely anything to keep her safe and happy. To a lesser extent, this stretches to the other Halliwell sisters, Piper, Prue and Paige. While not getting along with them, Cole understands how important they are to Phoebe and assists when he can.

Born in 1885, Cole Turner was the only son of Congressman Benjamin Colerige Turner and Elizabeth Turner. Cole lost his father a few months after his birth when Benjamin found out that Elizabeth was a demon, and died trying to take Cole from her, intending that his son would grow up good.

With the death of his father, Cole was raised to despise his human side and embrace the powers that come with being a demon. This was all through his mother’s tutelage, whose lessons primarily forced Cole to suppress his human side, loathing it’s weaknesses. This enabled Cole to, eventually, become one of the most powerful demons of all time; Belthazor.

When he was of a certain fame, the Source of All Evil saw a particular promise in Belthazor, and forced his mother to put him through a human law school, so he could blend in to the human world as a lawyer, and have easy access to his victims. Cole managed to get through law school, passing the bar exam and qualifying as a lawyer. Most upper-level demons seek to infiltrate human society, but Cole had a certain aptitude for it, being half-human himself.
Some time in the 1990’s, Cole was chosen, by the Source, to join the Brotherhood of the Thorn, an elite society of upper-level demons. Here, he became particularly close to two other demons; Tarkin and Triggs. Being the youngest members of the Brotherhood, these were the only two beings that Cole could consider anything like a friend.

As his time in the Brotherhood went on, Cole, under his demonic name Belthazor, stylised himself as one of the most ruthless assassins, priding himself on being able to kill anyone. It was this that brought him to the attention of the Triad of Evil. They tasked Belthazor with one important task; Kill Phoebe, Piper and Prue Halliwell. The Charmed Ones.

The price for taking down the Charmed Ones was Cole’s father’s soul, which had been held by the Source since his death. Being half-human, The Source and the Triad thought it would be a lot easier for Cole to blend in and get close to the sisters, using their trust as a way to kill them. He got set up as an Assistant District Attorney in San Francisco.

He first met the Halliwell sisters when their cop friend, Darryl Morris, was injured in a demon attack. Cole, posing as the ADA, was immediately noticed by the youngest sister, Phoebe, who seemed instantly taken with him.

As time goes by, Cole tries on two separate occasions to take the Halliwell’s important spell book, The Book of Shadows, considered to be one of the most powerful tomes of magic in the world. He attempts to assassinate the sisters on numerous occasions and, after finding that brute force won’t work, starts to protect them while planning his next move.

During this period, his human side falls desperately in love with Phoebe Halliwell. So much that it even starts to overpower his mighty demonic side. Getting desperate, and under pressure from the Triad, Cole tries one last-ditch attempt to turn the sisters against each other. The Charmed Ones row explosively, causing Phoebe to turn to Cole for advice. Thinking he couldn’t get another chance, Cole tries to kill Phoebe when she’s the most vulnerable, but finds out that his love for the witch is preventing him from doing so.

Sick of Cole’s stalling, the Triad attempt to kill him for Treason. Cole vanquishes the Triad before shimmering back to his apartment to recuperate from his injuries obtained in a previous run-in with the Halliwells. Phoebe, worried about Cole, goes to visit him and finds him injured. Calling for her Whitelighter, Leo Wyatt, she begs Leo to heal Cole. Leo begrudgingly agrees, healing Cole, but finding it odd that it wasn’t working all the way, his healing light only able to heal the human half. Leo warns Phoebe that Cole may be half-demon, and even Belthazor, Phoebe shrugs it off, but gets suspicious when she’s looking over Cole’s apartment.

When a demonic bounty hunter, aided by the other two Charmed Ones, breaks into Cole’s apartment, Cole shimmers Phoebe and himself to the Mausoleum and proclaims his love to her, apologising that he didn’t tell her the truth sooner. Phoebe is heartbroken, thinking this is all a trick, until Cole vanquishes the bounty hunter, protecting Phoebe. It is then that Phoebe pretends to vanquish Cole and tells him to run.

Cole, now being on the run from the Source and his bounty hunters, appears to Phoebe numerous times, stating that he wants to be good and leave his demonic side way behind. Phoebe is reluctant until Cole helps save her own, and an Innocent’s, life when she was linked to a Native American stuck in a time loop.

At his current canon point, Cole is Good. He’s worked with the Halliwell sisters for some time, and his knowledge of demons and evil has proved invaluable at times. Phoebe is in love with him, but the other sisters, Prue, Piper and Paige, aren’t so trusting. To them, Cole will always be a demon, despite his attempts to prove otherwise because of his love for Phoebe.

Are you bringing your character to [community profile] ten_fwd from another game? If you are, which game?:
If you answered yes above, briefly summarize how they were changed by and what challenges they faced in the climate of their previous game(s): N/A
Why do you want to play this character in Ten Forward, and what do you plan to do with them? Cole is an interesting character, teetering on the edge of Good and Evil like he is. There's a potential for many different plotlines regarding him, and Q messing with canon points and suchlike. It'll also be interesting to see how he copes with staying Good regarding his current canon point.

Skills | Powers: Cole is an upper-level demon, he is resistant to most mortal weapons, and most magic, but being hit enough times can wound him. At the time of his canon point, Cole is repressing his demonic side, Belthazor, and remaining in his human half. He doesn't use many of his higher-level powers, as they require tapping into the feelings that would unleash Belthazor. The only sure-fire way to kill him is with the Upper-Level Demon Vanquishing Potion, which requires the Power of Three and a peice of Cole's own flesh to make.

His powers are, notably, Shimmering, the act of teleporting in the form of a shimmer, used by most demons. Energy balls, which conjours a high-powered electrical energy ball. Conjouring, which allows him to create imaginary objects, or to teleport small objects. Super Strength beyond that of a regular human. Spell Casting, often using spells in Latin, and Sensing, most notably the ability to sense evil in others.

Well, an alternate underworld, huh? Funny, and I thought I'd managed to get away from it. [A man sits in front of the camera. His expression neutral.] Of course, it's not often that I've found myself trapped here, nor are there many beings who can trap someone like me. Congratulations.

Now what are you planning on doing with me?
